To be fair, Kai isn’t entirely sure why they’re still talking about it either, but for exactly the reason Bashasa is trying to avoid. With the general attitude towards demons in general and him in particular, he’s grateful to have the man’s friendship, much less anything else. It would sting a little, but he’d get over it.
